At any given moment, there are thousands of available advertising options but until now, no easy way to find them. Helio simplifies this process by unifying options across any media channel, anywhere, connecting buyers and sellers in minutes.
The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Advertising Sales Executive to use their sales experience and media knowledge to scale a vital part of our fast-growing business. More precisely, we’re looking for a motivated individual who can leverage their communication skills to drive new business. You’ll report and work directly with the Advertising Sales Manager and CEO to meet and exceed goals across all active markets segments.

Job Description
As Advertising Sales Executive your primary function is to pitch, close and onboard customers on the buyer side of the marketplace.
You’ll have a direct impact on the expansion of our business and be recognised & rewarded for your success. We only hire the best, and you’ll need to convince us that you’re a top level performer, hungry and excited to be a part of this journey.
Responsibilities
- To generate revenue through sales activity from buyers of advertising (key decision makers) to ensure continued growth of, and success in meeting company revenue targets.
- Engage prospective customers via existing warm leads, cold calling, LinkedIn and email marketing.
- Build a pipeline of consistent and qualified leads.
- Creatively uncover opportunities to grow awareness for the platform by connecting with industry organisations, Chambers of Commerce, Media Associations and more.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a media sales role.
- Strong willingness to understand the business and adapt to its culture and style.
- Exceptional communication and written skills including confidence and creativity to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
- Excellent computer literacy skills and ability to quickly learn and understand new systems
- Positive, enthusiastic, and performance-driven persona
